  • Inspire your imagination of outer space with this hand-dyed, batik celestial cotton throw. The blanket itself is made from handspun natural cotton and was handwoven by Hausa artisans. (This specific type of cotton blanket, using all handspun cotton, is extremely rare at this time.) An artist then hand-dyed a child-like batik illustration of planets, stars and spatial objects. Finally, artisans fashioned tassels and comet-shaped tassels from hand-dyed cotton thread, and attached them to the throw to enhance the batik illustration. The final effect is a unique and multi-dimensional throw-- a truly one of a kind piece to inspire wonder and love of the cosmos.
