  • Handmade rustic baskets from Kaduna, Nigeria. Rare vintage pieces. The two platter/sifter baskets feature a weaving style that is likely a precedent for the sweetgrass baskets of the Gullah tradition in the southern USA. A modern global chic style for urban farmhouse decor.

    • Two (2) large handwoven baskets traditionally used to sift and sort grains (approximately 19.5 and 21 inches in diameter)
    • One (1) delightful small basket with a rare & unique weave (approximately 8.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches tall)

    Please note, these are vintage pieces, there are imperfections and slight tears to some of the woven areas. In addition, there is a light colorful staining on a section of the small basket.
