AfriMod Chocolate-Brown Storage Basket (~19in lidded basket)

The design of this lidded storage basket is based on the traditional Hausa “adudu” basket. AfriMod designers reconfigured the original shape and contour of this basket to infuse a modernity that invariably retains the core essence of traditional Hausa aesthetics. It is hand-crafted with hand-dyed doum palm fibers by traditional Hausa weavers in Kano, Nigeria. And with tight weave and durable construction, it is quite versatile as storage for towels, blankets and children’s toys.
